Viewing and Editing Lesson Brief Overview Notes

How to add, view, edit, and delete Lesson Brief notes

In the Lesson Brief you can add, view, edit, and delete a customized Lesson Brief Overview Note. This provides a convenient location to place reminders, hints, and whatever you'd like to jot down for future reference.

Note: Lesson Activity Notes also display in the Lesson Brief Overview Notes area. To add, view, edit, or delete Lesson Activity Notes, refer to View and Edit Lesson Activity Notes.

To add, view, edit, and delete Lesson Brief Overview Notes:

Log in to the application.
Drill down to the activity level and view any Lesson Brief.
Click the Notes icon.

The Lesson Brief Overview Notes area displays.
Initially, the Lesson Brief note will be blank. To add a note, click the Add Note icon.

The Lesson Brief Notes edit window displays. You can type, or copy-and-paste, any plain text into this window.
When you have finished typing your note, click the Done button.

Your Note is saved, and the system returns to the Lesson Brief notes display area. At this point, your note displays in-line.
To edit or delete your note, click the Edit button.

The Lesson Brief Notes edit window displays once again. You can make any changes that you would like.
To SAVE your edited note, click the Done button.

Your Note is saved, and the system returns to the Lesson Brief notes display area. At this point, your note displays in-line.
To delete your note, click the Delete icon while viewing the note in the editor window.

The system asks if you're sure that you want to delete the note. Click Yes to delete the note, or click No to cancel the delete operation.

When you click Yes, your Note is deleted, and the system returns to the Lesson Brief notes display area. At this point, your note is once again blank.
After you've added multiple notes to the Lesson Brief, the Lesson Activities, or both, they all display in the Lesson Brief Overview Notes area.

Note: This area displays all the notes that you've made for the entire Lesson Activity.
Click the Close icon to close the Lesson Brief Overview notes area.

The Lesson Brief displays once again.
