Overview of Lesson Briefs
Lesson Briefs are your introduction and guide to the various activities contained within a lesson. They provide you with a starting point to organize your thoughts before class, and also present various helpful tools and resources for use during class. Lesson Briefs vary from lesson to lesson, but they typically include things like:
- Videos. Many lessons include introductory videos. Sometimes these videos introduce
the lessons to your students, and sometimes they supplement the lessons with vocabulary
building or other entertaining enrichments.
- Prep and materials information. This includes everything you need to know so that
you can go into the lesson prepared and organized.
- Notes. The Lesson Brief collects all of your personal lesson notes in a single location for easy review and editing.
- A Print button. Allows you to easily print a copy of the Lesson Brief, complete
with all of your personal lesson notes.
- An Unplugged section. Includes advice on how to proceed with the lesson in the event that you lose Internet connectivity.
- Credits. A link to copyright information for various elements of the lesson.
