Viewing Your Forum Profile

How to view your profile in the teacher forums

Your forum profile is information about you that is shared with the Amplify community. Depending on your District settings, this can include:
  • A photo or avatar that you upload and change at will
  • Information about your forum activity, such as the date you joined and when you were last active
  • Links to discussions that you recently started
  • Links to comments that you recently left on other peoples' discussions

To view your profile in the teacher forums:

  1. Sign in to the forums.

    Note: The three most recent forum discussion posts always display in the central part of the screen.
  2. Click your User Name.

    The upper parts of all Profile screens display a photo or avatar that you upload.

    All Profile screens also display:
    • The date that you joined the Amplify forums community
    • The number of times that you have visited the forums
    • The date or time that you were last active in the forums
    • Your role in the community, as a member, moderator, or administrator

    The lower part of the Profile Activity screens shows information about your recent activity.

    Note: To reach your Profile screen, you can also click your photo or avatar anywhere you see it displayed. Both links lead to your Profile screen. For information about how to change your profile image, see the Editing Your Forum Profile.

  3. Click Notifications on the lower left part of the Profile screen.

  4. Click Discussions to display the most recent discussions you have created.

  5. Click Comments to display the links to comments that you have recently made to other people's discussions.
