Editing Your Forum Profile

How to edit your profile in the teacher forums

1. Sign in to the forums.
2. View your forum profile.
   
3. To change your photo or avatar picture, click your existing picture.
   
4. Click the Change Picture button.
   

   A Change Picture dialogue is initiated.

   
   Note: The specifics of the Change Picture dialogue vary depending on the device you're using. You can choose an existing file or create a new image using your device's camera.
5. To change your personal information settings, click the Edit Profile button.
   
   • Some information, such as your user name, is not editable.
   • You can edit the email address that you use in the forums.
   • You can allow other forum members to see your email address by selecting the Allow box.
   • You can choose whether to specify your gender with the Gender radio buttons.
6. Click the Save button.

   A notification indicates that your settings have been saved.

   
7. To change your forum password, click the Set A Password button.
   
   If you want to change your password:

   • Enter the new password in the New Password field.
   • Enter it again in the Confirm Password field.
8. Click the Save button.

   A notification indicates that your changes have been saved.

   
9. To change your notification preferences, click the Notification Preferences button.
   
   If you want to change your notification preferences:

   • Select either email and/or popup for each of the event types that you would like to be notified about.
10. Click Save Preferences.

    A notification indicates that your changes have been saved.
