Description of the app
The Amplify Learning app is a collection of learning materials that aid in teaching core
concepts in science, math, and English language arts. These learning materials include:
- Robust curriculum that is organized around core learning concepts
- In-class activities that allow each student to participate in learning and to demonstrate
his or her knowledge
- For ELA, a Library with a large collection of classic and current literary works
- A Gradebook, where teachers can monitor student progress, provide
feedback, and assign grades for completed work
- A Teacher Forum, where teachers can connect with other teachers using the
Amplify curriculum
The Amplify Learning app is designed so that each student has the opportunity to demonstrate
his or her understanding of the material as it is covered in class. This allows teachers and
students to more quickly identify what concepts a student understands right away and which
concepts may require more review and practice. This helps the entire class to be fully engaged in
learning.
